Kwahu South Collaborative Effort Promotes Fire Safety and Environmental Protection

In a commendable joint venture, the NCCE in Kwahu South, Mpraeso, Eastern Region, partnered with the Forestry Commission, Ghana National Fire Service, Information Services Department, and National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) to educate 24 communities, schools, lorry stations, and market centers on fire safety during the dry season, aligning with Article 41 (k) of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana.

Led by Civic Education Officer Mr. Benjamin Baah and Mr. Nii Kwei Kussachin, the initiative emphasized adherence to fire safety guidelines. Parents were specifically urged not to leave cooking food unattended, ensuring comprehensive safety measures. This collaborative effort underscores the community's commitment to safeguarding lives, property, and the environment.
