NCCE GOES ON TOUR WITH KPONE KATAMANSO MUNICIPAL SCHOOL TO MEDIA GENERAL

The NCCE, together with the Bawaleshie Kpone Katamanso Municipal Assembly School, embarked on an excursion to Media General. Officers in charge were Afia Quarshie (CEO), Gracelyn Dogbe (ACEO), Joyce Zowonu (CEO), Esther Ofori Addo (PFO), Anita Ayaba Yomedan (PFO), and Rebecca Ayeh, a national service staff from the ONSBA zonal office.

The tour was mainly led by Daniella Mensah, the assistant production manager, with the assistance of Jasmin Asumadu, an intern. Mr. Eric Mensah Ayertey, a news editor, took the team through what Media General is all about and how it started. The team was also exposed to the various units: the control room, reality room, studios, and production room, and their various functions and processes. The team realized an African village had been set up on the premises for the month of March to showcase our Ghanaian heritage. We were told how important it was to keep all sorts of noise and food away from the control room, as it was a very important place with delicate equipment.

It was a great time for learning and having fun.
