NCCE Birim Sensitises Citizens on Voter Registration

The NCCE Birim North District visited the Ntronang Market and its environs to sensitize first-time voters on the upcoming voter registration exercise. The speakers for the programme were Ms. Ophelia Orko-Odoi (ACEO) and Ms. Akos Ahiago (ACEO).

Ms. Ophelia Orko-Odoi echoed the need to acquire a voter identification card. she also explained to them who a qualified voter is, thus should be 18 years old, and be of a sound mind, etc. Ms. Akos Ahiago also pleaded with the youth to desist from common electoral offences such as multiple registrations, campaigning at polling stations and vote buying.
