​NCCE SENSITIZES CITIZENS ON THE RELEVANCE OF WOMEN IN SOCIETY

The Sekyere South District Directorate, as part of activities to mark International Women’s Day, held a commemorative civic education programme at Ashanti School for the Deaf, Jamasi Ashanti. It was to sensitize the inmates and staff on the relevance of women in our contemporary world and to highlight the negative impacts of discrimination against women. The occasion was also used to address other topical issues such as teenage pregnancy, the rights and responsibilities of citizens, etc.
